An Inconvenient Truth

I have glanced through the book and watched previews for the film... so far, I must say, that it appears to be the most important film of the summer and I hope I get the opportunity to view it. I know that it is showing June 30th at Studio 28 in Grand Rapids, but I will not be able to go because I'll be in Washington, D.C. visiting a friend. =) Perhaps I can raise the issue to Mr. George "Huh, Kyoto? What's that?" Bush himself. =) As far as other showtimes, the website's show listings are down and currently being updated. Sorry.

I hope that you pledge with me, whether or not you decide to see this particular film or read this book, that you will educate yourself on the habit of global destruction that we, as a society, have gotten ourselves into.

Thanks. That's all for now.

Love,
David

P.S. I think I'm going to go see this play this weekend:

It's a play called "The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told" this weekend at the Kalamazoo Whole Arts Theater... it was suggested to me by my supervisor at the After School Program and I'm really looking forward to it. For more info on the show and the Whole Arts Theater in general, check out their website at http://www.wholeart.org/.

I think we need to ask Miss Kelly if that will be showing in DC when we're there...

I must see it. :)
